The Buckhaven Farm is a beautiful and secluded 560 acre wooded estate in northwest Georgia. There is a comfortable 2 bedroom/2 full bath home (image link) with a nearby 3 car garage (image link) that includes a MIL apartment on the property. There are also 2 barns on the property. One is perfect for equipment and hay storage (image link), while the other is a small horse barn (2 stalls and tack room-image link). Next to the horse barn, there is a corral and Filson cattle-working equipment. The farm's water supply comes from two, strong wells, but city water is tapped and available from the road frontage.
For the sportsmen, the Buckhaven Farm offers a 4.5 acre spring-fed pond (image link) within a stone's throw from the home. The pond was stocked a few years ago and many largemouth bass, bream, and catfish have been landed from its shores. Many healthy Whitetail Deer and Wild Turkey have also been haversted off the property throughout the years. It's not uncommon to see a small herd of does or hens grazing ( image link) along the driveway as you enter or leave the property. Occasionally, you might even get a chance to see a large buck or tom, if you're lucky. There has also been two Black Bear sightings on the property in the past 15 years. After seeing how many mature White Oaks are on the property, you'll start to know why it's called "The Buckhaven Farm."
